Heavy duty spherical bearings support high loads
Targeting applications with very high radial and axial loads, bearing specialist igus has added four different sizes to its heavy duty clip spherical bearing range.
According to the company, the advantages of the new clip bearings are that they require minimal installation space, are easy to fit, do not require additional axial locking and work well for both for linear and rotational movements.
In addition, the maintenance free bearings can obtain a maximum pivot angle of 28° and can be fitted into plates as thick as 8mm. They are made from igus tribo-optimised plastics that do not wear or corrode and offer a fit and forget solution.
