High-speed ballscrews run quietly
NSK has launched its HMS series of ballscrews that offer improved traverse rates, precision, and quiet running. The series features a newly developed ball recirculation system that improves noise level by more than 6db. Its rigidity is significantly higher than comparable ballscrews.
HMS ballscrews are available with spindle diameters of 40, 45 and 50mm and leads of 8 (ø45), 10 (ø40, 50) and 12mm (ø40, 50). Machine manufacturers also have a choice of cooling system; conventional spindle cooling via a hollow shaft or the integrated nut cooling mechanism.
