The range includes tribo-tape; made of a tribologically optimised material that exhibits low friction and wear resistance, it can be applied to any working surface to improve sliding properties. Tribo-tape is available in food-grade Iglidur A160, which is coloured blue for easy identification, and Iglidur V400, which is wear-resistant up to 200°C.
Tribo-filament is a material has been developed for 3D printing to create prototypes or small batch components for test in real-world applications. The filament is available in two materials: wear resistant Iglidur I170-PF and flexible Iglidur I180-PF.
Igus' plastic e-chains will also be on display, they are light weight and resistant to corrosion and impact. Available in a selection of designs and sizes, e-chains are made of tribopolymers that offer long lasting, high UV, temperature and precipitation stability. They can be used in applications, such as ESD/ATEX environments, detectable and FDA materials for food, packaging, and medical applications.
Igus will also be exhibiting a range of plain bearings, ball bearings, cable management systems and continuous flex cables, as well as linear systems.
