Energy chain and cable specialist igus now offers Intercontec connectors with integrated SpeedTec quick release fastening technology.
The benefits of SpeedTec are said to be especially advantageous to electrical engineers working with drive technology and other similar applications because, as not only does the ¼ turn open-close mechanism greatly reduce installation times, the special locking mechanism prevents unexpected connection loosening as well as offering vibration and shock resistance of up to 25g in three axis.
All SpeedTec connectors are sealed in accordance with IP67 and conform to national and international certifications, including VDE, UL/CSA and CCC.
