Fibre reinforced polymer composites (FRPs) are increasingly being chosen by architects, specifiers and engineers wanting to construct both creative and practical modern structures.
FRPs offer the potential to revolutionise the construction of buildings whether it be through the use of FRP in synergy with traditional materials or by fully exploiting the properties of the material in the design of a complete FRP structure. The benefits of considerable weight saving are significant on large structures and the architectural freedom possible with composites enables dramatic new forms to be built.
This event will showcase the latest structures made with FRPs, the techniques used and why this material was used over other alternatives.
