New options available for Hall Effect sensor
BEI has added more input/output options and expanded the operational environmental capabilities of its 9960 series of Hall Effect rotary position sensors.
Available in the UK from Variohm EuroSensor, the new options include validation to key aspects of ISO-7637-2 for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, and compatibility with the harsh transients found in vehicle battery systems.
New electrical options include 9 to 30VDC in/4 to 20mA out and 15 to 30VDC in/0 to 10VDC out. The 9960 now also carries an IP69K rating for high pressure, high temperature wash down applications.
Aimed at demanding positioning applications in construction, agriculture and quarry equipment, as well as harsh industrial processing, valve control and materials handling, the new range offers 24 standard electrical angles through 0 to 360º, as well as programmable angles with some I/O options.
To meet the widest range of uses, the series is available in single or dual redundant outputs with electrical input and output options spanning voltage, ratiometric, PWM and current.
